Meet Geoff

I suppose I’m known as a bit of a low-key, old-school lawyer who’s also not afraid to try new approaches if that’s what’s best for my clients. Much of my work comes directly from the referrals of corporate clients and other attorneys, and I appreciate that level of trust.

Geoff Weisbart is a founding partner in the Texas law firm of Hance Scarborough and is highly regarded in the legal community as a principled and determined trial lawyer. Geoff is well-respected by his colleagues for his successes in conducting depositions, skills at the negotiating table, and achievements in the courtroom. On a regular basis, Geoff’s peers in the legal profession ask that he serve as an expert witness on financial and ethical issues. Geoff has consistently held an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, designating an attorney of the highest ethical and legal abilities. He also has been named to the list of Texas Super Lawyers from 2003 through 2010.

A native of the Texas Panhandle, Geoff earned his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law and has served in numerous leadership roles for the Austin Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.
